CJ is a 4-year-old female who was brought into the outpatient clinic by her parents because of shortness of breath, cough, and fever that has gotten progressively worse over the past two days. The parents state that she has a history of URI and has shown similar symptoms for the past four days. Physical examination reveals a normal appearing pre-schooler who is in moderate respiratory distress. Pulse is 116, respiratory rate 38, temperature 103.4o F, SpO2 (on room air) 92%. She has an occasional loose, nonproductive cough.
